Here are a few of the comments from BarCamp attendees. Looking forward to seeing new faces in the Fall. Stay tuned!

“Bar Camp on social media was a phenomenon! The expertise of the presenters was impressive, and the depth of the program content completely exceeded my expectations. As a marketing professional, I can immediately apply the valuable learning from today’s event. I will see you again for the next one.”

Patty Minnasian

“Many thanks to you, Chrisa and the presenters, Michael and Jim for a terrific conference. Although I’m not a recruiting I got a tremendous amount of information from my attendance. I highly recommend a BarCamp conference to anyone who is interested in helping themselves grow. The speakers were exceptional, providing detailed information in getting started with social media. Great job and keep up the good work!”

“Thank you for the invitation to BarCamp. It was money well spent - a great venue; great lunch; great presenters; valuable in-depth, how-to information. The casual, unique format of the un-conference was a welcomed change. I think everyone got a lot more out of the conference because it was so interactive and relevant to the needs of the “participants”. Gretchen, your passion for the social media topic was infectious. I learned SO much and the take always instantly translated into action. I’ve already joined ace Book, cropped a photo of myself in Picnik.com to add to my Facebook and Linkedin pages and now I’m ready for Twitter. Your meeting Michael Long is a testament to the power of Twitter as it relates to business connections. Thanks again and I wish you the best as you make social media your life’s calling!”

Cindy Burns, SPHR
Outplacement Consultant and Full-Time Job Seeker

“For someone who is on the outside looking into getting more involved with social media tools, I am now convinced that I need to join in and be a part of the social media “user community! I was so impressed and appreciative of the supportive encouragement extended by those who are already “experts” in this area! The energy in the room was unbelievable – very dynamic. I want to be a part of this BarCamp community going forward! And definitely interested in Sponsorship for next event in the fall!!!! You are on to something my friend!!”

Susan Howington

“I came back to my office and immediately started implementing some of the social networking tools we discussed. I’m so excited – my eyes have been opened! Recruiting with social media will be revolutionary to my 20 year career as a recruiter! Thank you for organizing such a fun, interactive, and enlightening event!!! I definitely look forward to participating the next time through!”
