The goal of BarCamp is to reach out to new people who will increase the common intelligence about new technologies, and to create opportunities for cross-fertilization between people and new ideas.

To understand what BarCamp Recruit is, let me tell you what it is NOT.

BarCamp Recruit is not a convention or seminar designed to make money. BarCamp Recruit is NOT a smoothly disguised “seminar” to sell you something. There is NO SELLING at BarCamp Recruit. There is NO pre-set agenda. So that is what BarCamp Recruit is not… So, what is it?
It is an “un-conference. BarCamp Recruit is a one day “get-together” of some of the smartest recruiting and HR minds in the industry and anyone can attend. First thing in the morning, attendees actually decide what the sessions will be (what YOU want to learn from these minds). Attendees will write the desired sessions on a big whiteboard, and a facilitator will then divide the sessions into tracks, so there is always 3-5 sessions going at one time. Here is one more very unique thing about BarCamp Recruit. The sessions are NOT presentations, they are CONVERSATIONS.

The experts in the room will often give a 15-20 minute talk on a subject to get the conversation going, and then open the room to Q&A. If you have a question or a statement, ask it! If you have an answer, offer it. If you have nothing to say, BarCamp Recruit is not for you. There are NO attendees at BarCamp Recruit only PARTICIPANTS.

But at BarCamp Recruit, YOU will decide what you want to talk about, so be there early!!
