Barcamp Recruit – Southern California was a big success!! The participants, content and energy was amazing!! Jim Marks was inspirational as always, Michael Long (the red recruiter) and others taught us how to integrate social media into our daily routine, Chrisa and I had a blast!! And Morgan took pictures. The Red Shoe Project - SUCCESS!!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Red Shoe Project - which brings awareness to My New Red Shoes. A non-profit whose mission is to to empower homeless and very low-income youth to succeed in school by providing them with brand new clothing so that they may greet the school year with pride and by educating and rallying the youth community around the needs of homeless children.

• Coffee is for sale at the Grog Shop at the Bay Club for $2 - or bring your own
• Don’t forget to wear RED SHOES! - If you don’t have a pair “no worries” you will have a pair by the end of the day
• Bring your camera and take pictures so you can post them on Facebook and twitter
